Tunisian Crochet Sweater Scarf

November 24, 2025 · Crochet

Hi everyone,

This week, I made this beautiful Tunisian crochet scarf sweater. It’s made with 100 % medium weight cotton yarn so it’s very warm for the fall and winter seasons. You can wear it as a scarf or sweater. It’s also a beginner friendly.

Written tutorial is below. I also attached the YouTube video tutorial below.

Notes (Forming the sweater):

The sweater is worked in one piece with rectangle piece. Once the rectangle is completed without fasten off continued to crochet the sleeve. When the sleeve is completed, it’s fasten off. Then you go attach the yarn to the opposite side of the rectangle to crochet the second sleeve.

Materials:

Yarns needed approximately:

YARN SUBSTITUTIONS:

I have used this yarn many times and loved it. I very much recommend this yarn for making sweaters, cardigans, etc.

https://amzn.to/4ilftaI Lily Sugar’n Cream Cotton Yarn is another option for this project. This yarn is also medium weight cotton yarn and I have used this yarn for so many projects, for making sweaters, baskets, bags, etc.
