I love the pattern and the colors of this hat. Hope you like it too.
Materials :
Yarn : 100% Cotton, medium yarn
Crochet Hook: 2.75 mm
Ch 12
Rnd 1: Starting from the back bump of 2nd ch, 1 sc each back bump around. 11 sc.
Ch 1 and turn your work.
Rnd 2: 1 sc each stitch around, back loops only (blo) 11 sc.
Continue doing Rnd 2 until your work from the beginning measures approximately 20.5 inches or the desired length after stretched out. (Recommend to measure your head circumference)
Rnd 1, body of the hat: 1 sc each st around the edge of the brim.
Sl st to close the rnd with color b.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, 1 dc to the next st. *Ch 1, skip one st, 1 dc to next 2 sts. Rep from* until the end of the rnd.
Rnd 3: 3dc to the st between the 2 dc.
Rep rnd 2 and 3, 5 more times.
We are going to decrease only with color a rows. We are not going to decrease color b rows which is the multicolor row.
Rnd 14: *2dc to next ch1 space, 3 dc to next ch 1 space. Continue this from * until the end of this row.
Rnd 15: Ch 3, 1 dc to the next st. Ch 1, skip one st, 1 dc to next 2 sts. Rep from until the end of the rnd. (no change in this row)
Rnd 16: *2dc to next 2 ch1 spaces, 3 dc to next ch 1 space. Continue this from * until the end of this row.
Rnd 17: Ch 3, 1 dc to the next st. Ch 1, skip one st, 1 dc to next 2 sts. Rep from until the end of the rnd. (no change in this row)
Rnd 18: 2dc to the each ch 1 space around until the end of the rnd.
Rnd 19: Ch 3, 1 dc to the next st. Ch 1, skip one st, 1 dc to next 2 sts. Rep from until the end of the rnd. (no change in this row)
Rnd 20: *2dc to next ch 1 space 1 dc to next ch 1 space. Continue this from * until the end of the rnd.
Rnd 21: Ch 3, 1 dc to the next st. *Ch 1, skip one st, 1 dc to next 2 sts. Rep from* until the end of the rnd.
Rnd 22: 1 dc to each ch 1 space around until the end of the rnd. Sl st to close the rnd and fasten off.
With tapestry needle connect top of the hat.
