It’s the time for Hydrangea flowers. Hydrangeas are so special, beautiful, colorful flowers and they make my garden look extremely beautiful. I have always wanted to create crochet Hydrangea and now it’s the time. I hope you will like this cute crochet hydrangea. Detailed written instructions are below.

Materials :

1mm Bamboo cord https://amzn.to/3NB9mA6

Crochet Hook: 1.80 mm: https://amzn.to/44ineX6

Green floral tape: https://amzn.to/3XJ5mCi

Abbreviations:

SC: Single crochet.

Dc: Double Crochet

MC: Magic circle.

Tr: Treble Crochet

CH: Chain

BLO: Back loops only

ST (S): Stitch (es)

Sl st: Slip stitch

Written Instructions:

Make a mc, 4 sc inside the mc.  

*Ch 3, 1 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc to next st. Ch 3 sl st to same st. Repeat from * until the end.

Do as many as flower like this

Fold the wire in half and insert into the two holes of flower (the middle part)

And twist the wire on the bottom to tighten.

Make like this 3 flowers at a time and connect them with wire.

Connect all the flower together.
Cover the stem with floral tape.

Making the leaf

Leaf is done with 1mm bamboo cord.

Round 1: Ch 13, starting from 2nd ch, 1 sc to each ch, 3 sc to last st, continue to other side, 1 sc to each st until the end. Ch 1 and turn your work.

Round 2: Starting from 2nd ch, 1 sc to each blo, 3 sc to last blo, 1 sc to each blo on the other side. Ch 1 turn your work.

Round 2: Starting from 2nd ch, 1 sc to each blo, 3 sc to last blo, 1 sc to each blo on the other side. Ch 1 turn your work.

Sl st to the end of the leaf, and when you come to middle part, ch 6, 1 sc to each ch, sl st to the bottom, continue with sl st until the end. Fasten off, weave the ends. As seen below.

Connect the leaf to the stem with floral tape.
