Hi,
This is a new bag I made this week. It’s very easy to make, made from 12 granny squares. It’s colorful and beautiful. I think it will look good with my recent hippie crochet granny square summer top, and it also looks great with solid colors. The granny square crochet can be done with different colors and designs, and is excellent for making tops, sweaters, bags. Hope you like this bag.

YARN SUBSTITUTIONS:
https://amzn.to/3N9Rk7O Lily Sugar’n Cream Cotton Yarn, one of my favorite yarns, is a great option for this project. I have worked and made so many projects with this yarn, especially for making baskets and bags. It’s a 100 % cotton yarn and it gives and sustains a nice shape to the bags, baskets, and toys. It’s also very absorbent, which makes it great for a special, above average dishtowel.
https://amzn.to/443TEnS I also love Just Hemp yarn, made from Lion Brand. It’s easy to crochet or knit with this yarn. I have also used this yarn many times for projects like this. This yarn, though not as soft as wool or cotton, is still surprisingly quite soft. (Just how soft? It’s amazingly soft compared to hemp rope! Soft enough to wear as a sweater! I don’t know how they do this, and have been meaning to read about the process.) Hemp yarn also holds its shape, and is great for making bags, sweaters, summer tops, cardigans. One of the reasons that I love using this yarn is because of its long lifespan. According to multiple sources from the internet, hemp yarn is 2 to 3 times more durable than cotton yarn. Hemp is also a natural, environmentally friendly material, as it is a sustainable, renewable resource.
