This is how we are going to connect the squares

Attaching the squares together, make a slip knot and starting from the corners of 2 squares (remember we had 3 single crochet in the corner, start connecting from the middle single crochet stitches) Continue connecting going into the back loops of each stitch of each square. (go into the both back loops from each square, yo and pull through). After connecting the corners, continue attaching next 2 squares same as previous squares.

After connecting the 2 pieces in the middle corners, chain 1 and continue connecting the next 2 pieces.

Connect all the pieces like this and fold in half, and lastly connect the 2 squares on both sides to close the bag

Working on the handle, Attach the yarn to the corner. 1 single crochet to next 21 stitches (until you come to the corner at top) 1 single crochet to each of 3 stitches on top, and continue with 21 single crochet on the other side until you come to the middle of the bag, single crochet three together.

And continue with 1 single crochet to each stitch. And do same on the other side.

Slip stitch at the end.

Next round, 1 single crochet to next 21 stitches, ch 80 for the handle, connect to the other side and 1 single crochet to next 21 stitches. Sk the middle continue with 21 single crochet, and make the handle to the other side also.

Last round, 1 dc to each st until 2 sts from the first ch st (handle) Dc3tog, 1 double crochet to each chain until the last chain (78 dc) dc3tog to the last ch stitch and 2 stitches after that. Continue with 1 dc to each st. until the other handle and do the same.

At the end fasten off.
