This summer boho top is made with 100% medium weight cotton yarn. V neck, open armhole, granny flowers added on the bottom and finished with pom pom edging. It turned out fun, beautiful piece that you will love to wear all summer. Written detailed instructions are below.

Ch: Chain

SM: Stitch Marker

https://amzn.to/43Ov09X Dishie yarn by Knit Picks also would be an another great cotton option for this sweater. Its very soft, and lightweight. I have used this yarn many times and loved it.

GAUGE: 14 sts and 7 rows = 10 cm (4 inch) in dc stitch.

Written Instructions:

Written instructions are for size S [bust measurement 35 inch (89 cm)]. With the gauge info, you can make yours any size you like.

Ch 128

Sl st to close the round.

Round 1: Ch 3. 1 dc to each ch Sl st to close the round.. 128 dc

Round 2: Ch 3. 1 dc to each st around. Sl st to close the round. 128 dc

Round 2-10: Ch 3. 1 dc to each st around Sl st to close the round at the ends.. 128 dc.

Separate front and back pieces. 64 sts for the each piece. Place SM in the middle. We are going to crochet front piece first.

Round 11: Sl st to first 4 sts (shaping the armhole-left side)

Cont. with 1 dc to each st until 4 sts left before the SM.

Total sts in round 11 is 56

Round 12: 1 dc to first st, dc2tog, 1 dc to each st until 3 sts left at the end, dc2tog, 1 dc to last st. Ch 2 and turn your work. 54 sts.

Round 13: 1 dc to next st, dc2tog, 1 dc to each st until 3 sts left at the end, Dc2tog, 1 dc to last st. Ch 2 and turn your work. 52 sts.

Round 14: 1 dc to next st, dc2tog, 1 dc to each st until 3 sts left at the end, Dc2tog, 1 dc to last st. Ch 2 and turn your work. 50 sts.

We are going to make 2 panels, right and left to divide the neck shaping to make V-Neck.

Working on the left side of neck shaping,

Round 15 (left side) : Ch 2. 1 dc to next st, dc2tog, 1 dc to each st until 3 sts left before the first SM. Dc2tog, 1 dc to last st. 22 sts.

Ch 2 and turn your work. 

Round 16 : Ch 2. 1 dc to next st, dc2tog, 1 dc to each st until 3 sts left before the first SM. Dc2tog, 1 dc to last st. 20 sts.

Ch 2 and turn your work. 

Round 17 and 18: Cont. decreasing for both sides (armhole and neckline) 2 more rows until 16 sts left.

Round 19: 1 dc to each st until 3 sts left at the end. (No more decrease on the  armhole). Dc2tog, 1 dc to last st. Ch 2 and turn your work. 15 sts.

Continue decreasing for the neckline only until 8 sts left and fasten off.

Decrease on both sides until 16 sts left and decrease only on the neckline until 8 sts left. Fasten off.

Connecting the shoulder piece

Make a MC. Ch 2 and 8 hdc inside the MC.

Tighten the MC , sl st to close the round.

Ch 4, tr2tog to same st.

*Ch 3, tr3tog to next st. Rep. from * until the end. 

Ch 3 and sl st to close the round.

Sl st twice to come to empty space. Ch 4, 2 tr, ch 2, 3 tr inside the same empty space.

Ch 1, 3 tr to next empty space. *Ch 1, 3tr, 2 ch, 3 tr to next space, ch 1, 3 tr to next space. Rep. from * until the end.

Connecting pieces

Connecting the granny flowers to the body piece.

Working on the bottom, add the yarn.

Row 1: 1 sc to each st, 1 sc to each empty space around. Sl st to close the round.

Row 2: Ch 3, 1 dc to each st around. Sl st to close the round.

Row 3: Ch 1, 1 sc to next 2 sts.

*Ch 4, skip 3 sts, 1 sc to next 2 sts. Rep. from* until the end. Sl st to close the round.

Row 4: Sl st to next 2 sts, sl st to empty space.

Ch 6. Dc3tog to 3rd ch from hook. Ch 1 to close the puff st.

Ch 3, dc3tog to top of last puff stitch.

Sl st into the space where previous puff st was made.

Ch 3, sc into the next ch 4 space.

Continue making puff sts around the edge and fasten off.

For the neckline and the armhole edging: 1 sc to each st around. Sl st to close the round and fasten off. Weave the ends.
